Small Attendance at Adidas Next Generation Cup (ANGT)

Due to pandemic the field of participating teams at the Adidas Next Generation Cup (ANGT) will be much smaller than the previous years:

Other than in 2019, the only participating teams for Germany are ratiopharm Ulm and FC Bayern Munich, thus the majority of German prospects will not have the chance to showcase their talent this year.

To reach the ANGT finals in Cologne, the teams will first compete in the three-day qualifiers in Valencia, Spain. Munich, Germany; Belgrade, Serbia. Each qualifier will consist of eight teams, with the first-place team earning an automatic run to the finals. Five other teams - including some of the top performers in the qualifiers - will receive wild card invitations to compete for the U18 continental crown.
